Mailbox: There are three envelopes in the mailbox; all are registration forms for Winterfest.
Gossip and Winterfest: Gossip is floating around that Winterfest is being canceled due to lack of participation. All are going to let people know this is untrue and the person believed to be saying so will be corrected.
Contract and Filming: Tina spoke with the staff at the 4H camp and they said regarding the filming section to cross it out and not initial it. The notification was 72 hours not 72 days. Staff at 4H was surprised we had actually read the contract. Contract was signed and sent in with the required deposit.
Sponsored/Observing Houses Payment: All agreed that the sponsored house Dancing Dragons would contribute as much as a voting house so therefore will not have to pay registration fee. Observing houses will be required to pay but will be allowed to pay in installments as they are able up to cost of $68.
Mission Change: A possible mission change was brought up and discussed as to how we may be better able to serve/help our community. Carol suggested a possible scholarship fund to help members within our community with continuing education costs. James suggested setting up three accounts: one for Pagan Land, one for expenses, and one for community outreach/assistance. As pagan land will be a continuing objective, there are also other ways in which we may help/serve/assist our community. All members will think about our current mission statement and our future goals within the community. This will be discussed further at the next meeting.
Registration: We currently have three people who have sent in their registration. Tina will have the tentative schedule/registration packet ready by January 1, 2004, and will e-mail out for approval. Nono will send Tina a listing of e-mail addresses to update our records.
Pans Patch: Nathan to contact Michael regarding the completion of the 501C3. Joel unable to attend Saturday meetings due to his work schedule. All agreed to change the meetings to the 3rd Sunday of the month at 3:00 p.m.
Items not discussed: Wendy to check on insurance to meet the requirement for Winterfest.
Next meeting: January 18, 2004, 3:00 p.m., Apollo 77. Reminder: This will be the last schedule meeting before Winterfest.
Adjournment: 10:10 a.m.
